SD II DM II | Science of Design II Design Methodology II _ part III

Course | interactive scripts & lectures

In this seminar investigation will go with computation and advanced 3d modelling. Student will rescale the organic object in the suitable size for implementing the architecture programs. They will explore the landscape of an info structure by creative computational production – cinematic sectioning. Later they will direct the 2 minutes movie of travelling - moving inside of architectural space and through virtual structures of architectural landscape. Virtual dimension will be one of most important discovery. And the materialisation of architectural space will take place and the landscape of an info structure will be exhibit through material sectioning.

Guided student's research according to D. Batista’s interactive lecture /script for students with title Cinematic sectioning; Computation & advanced 3D modelling, Inspection of the organic object through photo lenses, macro, micro photography, Analysing of the organic object, transformation of real object into virtual environment | 2D, 3D, to understand flora structure, to understand complete volume geometry, Macoto Murayama’s ‘Inorganic flora plans’, Rescale the organic object implementing the (architectural) programs, simulation of real environment in virtual environment, real silhouettes, real topology, Keith Ansell-Pearson’s  (2007) Overcoming the weight of man: Nietzsche, Deleuze, and possibilities of life.

Guided student's research according to D. Batista’s interactive lecture /script for students with title Cinematic moving; Moving inside of architectural invented virtual space, ‘travel’ though, inside and outside created info structure in virtual dimensions, inside or on the surface of the info-structure, creative computational production through mathematical technology of 3D max, kinetic architecture, augmented reality, etc.
