SD II DM II | Science of Design II Design Methodology II _ part I

Critical inquiry  | interactive scripts & lectures

Reflecting on the knowledge and understandings acquired in Design methodology I, this course is a critical inquiry into the principal methodical architectural design practices in the contemporary world. As such, the content of the course must necessarily evolve as the intellectual and cultural parameters of both theory and practice in the contemporary world change. The principal aim is to reinforce in students the importance of developing and critically maintaining the values, need and visions, of the society in architecture. Fundamental to this process is to encourage the students’ awareness of the necessity to challenge their own subjectivities, biases, and presuppositions.
